Drawing with fountain pens

Hero M86 fountain pensketch with Hero M86 fountain penDrawing Lamy Safari fountain penDrawing Lamy Safari fountain penDrawing Lamy Safari fountain penI have been trying out two fountain pens I brought recently, the Chinese Hero M86 ($12) and German Lamy Safari ($20). The nib on the Hero is slightly upturned and depending how you hold it gives a lovely varied line width. The more perpendicular the pen is to the paper the thinner the line. There’s no line variation with the Safari but it flows beautifully and feels similar to the Rotring Art Pen.
